Fecal Matters connects with Apple HealthKit to log your bowel movement data alongside the rest of your health picture. Constipation and diarrhea symptoms are recorded automatically based on your Bristol type, giving you and your healthcare provider a complete, longitudinal view of your digestive patterns over time.
Duration Tracking

Your Data Stays with Apple
All data is stored exclusively through Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure. Your health logs live in your personal iCloud account, encrypted by Apple. We operate no third-party servers. We have no database of your information. We cannot see, access, hear, smell, or sell your data — because we never have it in the first place.
No Tracking. No Analytics.
Fecal Matters contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no usage tracking. We do not know how often you open the app, what you log, or when. There are no hidden data pipelines. Your relationship with your health is between you and your device.
You Control What You Share
Community participation is entirely optional. Keep your profile private and use Fecal Matters solely as a personal health journal — no one will ever see your entries. When you’re ready, you can choose to share with the community on your own terms, and toggle individual posts between public and private at any time.

Fecal Matters never asks for your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information. Your identity in the community is a handle you choose yourself. Your following list is stored only on your device — not even Apple knows who you follow. This is privacy as a foundation, not an afterthought.
